Tatum Leads Celtics to Victory with 32 Points

Jayson Tatum put on a show in Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals, leading the Boston Celtics to a 119-106 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Tatum, who was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP, drained five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 32 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists.

Doncic's Triple-Double Not Enough for Mavericks

Despite another impressive performance from Luka Doncic, the Mavericks were unable to keep pace with the Celtics.

Doncic, who led the NBA in scoring and assists during the regular season, finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 15 assists. However, he also committed seven turnovers.

Celtics Take Early Series Lead

With the victory, the Celtics take an early 1-0 series lead. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday night in Dallas.

The Celtics are now one win away from taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. However, the Mavericks have shown that they are a resilient team, and they will be looking to bounce back in Game 2.
