Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship to Launch on Epic Fourth Flight

Historic Flight Test Set for June 2023

A Leap Forward for Space Exploration

SpaceX, the revolutionary space exploration company founded by Elon Musk, is gearing up for the fourth integrated flight test (IFT-4) of its highly anticipated Starship launch vehicle. This groundbreaking mission marks a crucial step in bringing the Starship to operational readiness and making progress towards its ultimate goal: enabling human travel to Mars.

Following the successful IFT-3 launch in March, the Starship program is now preparing to launch Ship 29 and Booster 11 on IFT-4, potentially as early as this month. SpaceX has received a launch license from the Federal Aviation Administration, authorizing the fourth test flight of its massive moon rocket.

The Starship megarocket, designed to be the largest and most powerful rocket in history, will lift off from SpaceX's Starbase facilities in southern Texas. The launch window opens early on Thursday morning, with the launch scheduled for 7 am CT. SpaceX will be streaming the launch live, ensuring that viewers worldwide can witness this historic event.

The IFT-4 mission will be the fourth in a series of test flights designed to prove the Starship's capabilities and pave the way for its eventual use in human spaceflight missions. The successful completion of this flight test will bring SpaceX closer to its goal of making space exploration more accessible and affordable.
